It is a forehead slapper of a question - but I have yet to hear if anyone asked Novak this simple question - " If he did not get confirmation from Rove - would he of still published the story?"
That is if Rove refused to confirm or deny anything about Plame - would Novak still of published the story? I don't knowe about journalistic rules etc about sources and checking them for accuracy of a story..........

The two of them probably chortled for DAYS over what they'd be doing to Wilson, Plame AND Plame's wmd network... They've apparently been joined at the hip for decades.
