Do you think Roberts was choosen to defend Rove, etc??? |
|
I was thinking about this last nite. Roberts will be in the Supreme Court in Oct (most likely). This could also be the same time that Fitzgerald is finished with his investigation(s).
Could this all end up in front of the Supreme Court? Afterall, an election was decided there.
Roberts could be bushco's sure bet that no one will be going to jail.
Any thoughts?

2. Very likely! Think of his stance on Cheney! |

He is a party man and toe-the-line loyalist. His life experience is quite limited. He knows nothing of the lives of ordinary people. Too bad for most of America. Where has Thurgood Marshall gone? Is there no one left like him?

this criminal case will raise any constitutional issues that would have to go to the Supreme Court.

has been carrying the repukes' water for so long. He's simply a hack - no better than Thomas, Scalia, or Rehnquist.
So it certainly is a possibility. Then again, I doubt any justice Bush would have nominated would have done any different.
