If Rove is fired/resign....
Will he still run operations from a distance?

Or, will he truly loose access to the White House?

If he still has the president ear, what will the difference be if he is dismissed?

1. Sure, he will give seminars at leading neo-conservative ....
...institutions around the country so that the younger members entered the cabal can be infected by the hydra's blood. This will not end until all of the heads of the hydra have been severed from the body.

2. I would guess that Bush would continue seek advice from him . . .
. . . even if Rove takes up residence at Leavenworth.

It would be quietly, I suppose, but he will.

5. I was wondering that too.
I wouldn't put it past bush to give them a pardon as soon as the indictments come down.

6. You're assuming that
a) Rove will get kicked out of the White House, and

b) Bush will stay.

I'm not so sure that's a safe assumption anymore. We've all read the stories about "Bush's Brain", how Mr. Coke Brain can't think for himself. He would be absolutely unable to continue without him. And this must be why Ambassador Wilson and other Democrats are pushing for Bush to "fire" him.

In a sense, it's kind of a joke. Who's firing who? Randi Rhodes said that "Cheney is the President, and Rove is the Vice-President". What's Bush got to do with it?

My personal hunch: I think something's brewing under the surface. The REAL powers behind the scene are probably fed up with Bush, Rove, and the rest of them. Wouldn't you be? So something might be going on that will surface later.
