with AAR expanding weekend shows...BRING ON PETER WERBE!
I wonder why AAR hasn't pulled Peter Werbe into their lineup? He is one of the best informed talkers that we have and, as Malloy used to say during the good old IE America radio days, has a unique sort of jujitsu with which he handles freeptards.

I'm going to keep writing AAR about this and I hope you will too!

2. I'd like to see them take on Guy James!
I listen to Guy every Sat night and he has one of the worst time slots imaginable!

Guy would be a terrific asset to AAR!

3. I agree with both of you...Thom and Guy are definately worth...
a spin! I love Thom's focus on the place and value of the public good. I think the way he tends to bring it all back to that basic concept is a powerful way to bring people around.

I haven't heard enough of Guy's shows to form an opinion, but from what I've heard, I'm definately on board with you guys.

Peter is unique because he's not a Democrat and truly represents an open, party-free approach to progressive politics. If I was forced to pigeon-hole him, I'd say he comes off as a very thoughtful anarchist (in the Chomsky sense of the word). I think he'd be a great addition to the lineup based on his unique perspective.

4. I agree. Werbe was great on ie America.
Wasn't Nancy Skinner part of that show too? Or was she on with Doug Steffan?

I thought she was pretty awesome also.
