every day in baghdad, people are blowing up. in london things are exploding too. the rocket's red glare, the bombs bursting in air. there's never been a presidency so marked by explosions and bombings.

the world trade center towers, exploded. embassies are blowing up, and resorts in egypt, shit is exploding a lot in saudi arabia too, and the gaza strip is rife with explosions, and shootings of all kinds.

in london they are racially profiling brazilians as asians, and shooting them down like dogs without a trial for no reason other than they aren't white. blair's chickens are coming home to explode, and ours soon will too.

the born again christian president is seeking out the least among humanity, those who christ would have fed and clothed and given comfort to, and is exploding them and torturing them and bombing them and dragging christ's memory through shit.

that's the thing i'll remember the most about bush's terms, explosions, bombings, invasions, air strikes, fallujah, mass graves,
buildings exploding and collapsing, suicide bombings, little boy's arms blown off, little girls legs blasted away. soldier's with eyes and legs and arms and souls blasted away forever.

and we are used to it. and we all know that there are more explosions coming. big ones.

1. Yes... it's all so "yesterday" so chadlike in its stark reality..... we
are becoming desensitized to this administrations products. Perhaps we could get homeland security to see what they have brought us and have them locked away safely somewhere. Come to think of it... could the leakers be spirited away to Grantanamo for interrogation or perhaps Abu Ghraib for a little "hazing"???

2. yep, remember the world climate in early 2000?
There were some small hot spots, but nothing even similar to what's going on now.

North Korea was actually getting ready to open their borders.

Israel and Palestine were starting to sort things out.

There were problems, sure, but all in all things were going okay. There was hope in that the new millennium, which heralded the (short-lived) Age of Information, would bring about a new collective enlightenment.

Now? We've entered a Neo-Dark Age and have reverted to barbarianism.

Now? Things blow up all the time and the world is on the brink of all out war.

Now? Our civil liberties have been given a good shakedown and we are no longer private citizens, but pawns of the State.

Every day, I weep for our republic, and for what we've wrought against the rest of civilization.

3. You know what historians will ask in the future.
Why didn't anyone do anything about it? How could they let it happen?

4. Bush's WOT , in terms of national/international security, is a complete
failure.

In terms of providing the US Treasury to the financial backers of Bush, it is a complete success.

6. It has been happening well before "*".
The Marine barracks in Beruit. The Federal building in OKC. The first world trade center attack. The Embassy bombings in Africa. The attack on the USS Cole. The countless suicide bombings in Isreal.
I am sure I left a few out.
To be sure the frequency of bombing has increased under the shrubs "leadership".

7. Payback's a bitch, eh? People in the know have been saying that
our arrogant, ruthless behavior on the world stage would lead to massive blow-back. So it goes.
