2. OMG!
I admire the Brits' sense of humor and calm about all this.

3. Sense of humour yes...
Calm?... Like fuck, I'm incandescent with rage. The poor guy leaves his house and is chased by a load of blokes with guns, he runs, he's captured, then executed. Then the most senior police officer in the country tells the media the man was involved with the bombings. The next day he contradicts himself by saying he wasn't, but doesn't admit he rushed to judgment.

Arrogant or what?

4. Not only that, but
they let him get on a bus and ride to the tube station. If they thought he was a suicide bomber, why was it OK for him to get on a bus but not the tube?

6. LOL
They certainly hit the nail on the head, don't they? Those are very, very good. My parents are going to London on Tuesday, and while they are suitably Aryan Nordic, perhaps I should encourage them to acquire some of these items.

As for the gallow's humor aspect of it, that's perfectly legit as a way humans use to cope with such tragedies. The good thing is that they're recyclable, for instance, the jokes we told during the huge hunger catastrophe in Ethiopia in the 80s are now good for Niger.
