Freeper: N. A lonely and diseffected individual that lurks in the shadows and out of a misguided sense of righteous indignation takes pot shots at leaders who are trying to make progressive liberal change in society.

This article is about the general who changed sides during the American Revolutionary War. For other people of the same name, see Benedict Arnold (disambiguation)
Benedict ArnoldBenedict Arnold, V (January 14, 1741 – June 14, 1801) was a general in the Continental Army who defected to the British side during the American Revolutionary War. Serving with the American Patriots he became well known for leading successful campaigns and winning battles, but he gradually became disgruntled. This began with his not receiving what he felt was due credit in a raid on Fort Ticonderoga. Some five years later, in 1780, he plotted with the British to take control of the fort at West Point, New York, which would have given the British control of the Hudson River and split the colonies in half. The plot was thwarted, but Arnold successfully avoided capture by Continental forces. Shortly thereafter, he was given a commission in the British Army, and was eventually elevated to the rank of general. His name is a colloquial synonym for "filthy traitor" in the United States, much like Quisling in Norway, or Pétain in France.

Lee Harvey Oswald (October 18, 1939 – November 24, 1963) assassinated U.S. President John F. Kennedy on November 22, 1963, according to the conclusions of two government investigations into the assassination. The 1964 Warren Commission concluded Oswald acted alone; the House Select Committee on Assassinations, during the late 1970s, concluded that while Oswald was the shooter, President Kennedy "most likely was assassinated as the result of a conspiracy". Some critics of the official accounts have claimed that Oswald was not involved at all and was framed, and many conspiracy theories have been developed, but no single compelling alternative suspect has emerged.

Wanted Poster of MLK's assassin.James Earl Ray (March 10, 1928 – April 23, 1998) was the convicted assassin of Martin Luther King Jr..
Ray had been arrested at London Heathrow Airport on June 8, 1968 for King's April 4 assassination while trying to leave England on a false Canadian passport. He pleaded guilty to first-degree murder in Memphis, Tennessee on March 10, 1969. He was already a fugitive even before King had been assassinated, having escaped from the Missouri State Penitentiary in April 1967, where he was serving time for robbery. Ray, presumably a diehard racist and white supremacist, had shot and killed Dr. King because of latter's extensive civil rights work.
Sirhan Sirhan
Sirhan Sirhan
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.
Sirhan Bishara Sirhan (born March 19, 1944 in Jerusalem) was convicted of the June 5, 1968 assassination of Senator Robert F. Kennedy, by shooting him just minutes after Kennedy had won the California presidential primary election.
Sirhan, who was born to Palestinian parents in Jerusalem, fired a .22 caliber revolver eight times into the crowd surrounding Kennedy in the kitchen of the Ambassador Hotel shortly after Kennedy finished addressing supporters in the hotel's main ballroom. Sirhan was quickly detained at the scene by bystanders and then arrested. On March 3, 1969, in a Los Angeles, California court, Sirhan confessed that he had killed Kennedy, although he has maintained since he had been arrested that he had no memory of doing so. But, as with President John F. Kennedy's assassination, many questions persist.
Sirhan believed himself deliberately betrayed by Kennedy's support for Israel in the June 1967 Six-Day War, which had begun exactly one year before the assassination. After his arrest, Sirhan's journals and diaries were discovered, many entries obsessing over a desire to kill Kennedy. Sirhan later also claimed he acted unconsciously, possibly as the result of "hypnotic brainwashing" which some have attributed to the CIA's MK-Ultra program.
This is a just brief list. Is there ayone obvious that I have forgotten?
There are many many more out there. Sadly, many of the Asshat posters at FR probably respect some of these freaks.
Never forget how misguided and dangerous they can be!/h3]
