Did Abu Gonzales just slip up when he dropped the bomb about telling Card? |

Or is there some other reason why he told Scheiffer that he had told Card about the investigation 12 hours before telling anyone else?
What say you?

He'd be the last person I'd want to share a bunker with. He'd sell out his mother to protect his own ass.
Peace.

4. Covering his ass regarding testimony he gave re: Plame. I'm sure he |
|
gave minimal details and only answered in lawyerese. So in the end he may have said things like who he learned about the investigation from and who he told but filler detail like the timeline was not DIRECTLY asked about and certainly not offered up by Abu. So now he realizes through the testimony that is reaching the press that Fitz is filling in the timeline himself! Abu goes back reviews his notes and says, Ay Cabron! Yo estoy problema! Does the math and realizes his best bet is a minimal explanation with maximum time lag and out pops a 12 HOUR GAP with only him, WH and/or Justice Dept lawyers and Andy Card as players.
In short? It's caca.

6. Perhaps he testified under oath to this |
|
so didn't want to get caught contradicting his sworn testimony--
Or else Card is walking the plank for the team...

It's the same syndrome that brought down the Nixon White House...spend all day only among not very bright, not very honest toadies, and you're apt to blurt out everything that runs through your mind.
You might recall that a low level hack named Alexander Butterworth accidentally blurted out one day in the Rodino hearings that he had heard one of Nixon's tapes...and nobody had known until then Tricky Dick even had them...
