Mid level management fights the war on terror
Edited on Mon Jul-25-05 04:59 PM by queeg
Just heard some talking head chickie going on about the use of "metrics" for fighting the war on terror... "Metrics", you know all that good stuff you need to get on your quarterly reviews to get a new cubical with a view...

Perhaps we could send al Qaeda a few of these worthless mid level management types and they can do their "metrics" song and dance on them.

This whole war is starting to sound more and more like body-counts, and hamlets etc. I can just see some sorry ass dude in the basement of the pentagon having to dust off the Viet-Nam Punch card machine to get it to spit out which of the Iraqi hamlets have had the Viet Cong taken out of them....

Just one more reason that this country is going in the Shit Pot, is that these Mid-Level management types think that the people that they work over-with-for, actually give a good god damn about "metrics" BS
