Just saw an NBC News story on the economy and military recruitment |
|
Recruitment is up because many can't find jobs in this sucky economy. Is this a concious plan by * and the admin to guarantee an army for their purposes? Or is it just a beneficial side effect (for them) that trashing the economy just happens to increase recruitment?

service members usually have a tuition waiver from 75% to %100 in most state colleges. I feel that college is being made unaffordable for those purposes too.

Just a short-term solution that will only make matters worse in the long run. Much worse.
