both novak columns that outed VP and ask your sister to show you where Wison outed his wife. Give her the transcripts of the panel last week where Larry Johnson and three other former CIA guys spoke on record to Rush Holt and Henry Waxman about what happen. Ask her to find where these four Republican CIA guys say Wilson outed his wife.
Unless she can prove it, advise her to keep her wild fantasies to herself--- it makes the whole family look like nuts when one is out there acting the fool.

It's not real, and when the magic wears off remember Watergate, Iran/Contra, this shit is way more fucked up then that.
If she really wanted to support the troops she would stop mooooving with the crowd, and start asking questions. If she wanted help she would try and answer some questions. We the people don’t exist on Fox News the news is not my voice.

Man she sounds like a really hardcore right winger. Even my mostly conservative parents support stem cell research. So does my ultra right wing buddy who I went to college with.
Its one thing to be against abortion but its quite another to make the argument that stem cells are human beings. Most people who make that argument sound like nuts to even to the right wingers. So she probably belives that life begins at conception so that means even the morning after pill would be murder....
Was she dropped as a child to make her this way? ;-)

44. Sister's wrong on several counts |
|
1- * doesn't sign SSDI checks, I believe it's the Sec'y. of HHS.(I could be wrong, but I don't think so.) In any event being christian has nothing to do with it. In fact, if it were up to that good christian president and his buddies, they'd cut you loose without a second thought. Tell her that, too! 2-SSDI(social security disability income) is not welfare. I just passed the state insurance licensing exam in CA, and from what I read the SS definition of disabled is the most strict of all. Those guys are incredibly tight-fisted. Whatever happened to make you eligible it sure as hell wasn't laziness. Don't let anyone call it welfare!
Ask your sister where she heard that crap about Plame. A little reading on this blog should give you plenty of ammunition to counter her allegations, which I'm sure aren't hers to begin with. Tell her to look at the big picture; the whole thing started because Joe Wilson had the nerve to say that that good, christian president lied us into a war, which, by the way, his buddies had been planning since the '80s.(google PNAC + clinton + 1998)
Hang in there, your sister can still be saved. Refer her to the Landover Baptist Church. They'll straighten her out about being a "good christian."

So, basically, Dubya must be a "good Christian" because government workers are doing their jobs?
Wow -- if canonization were that easy, it's a wonder we haven't got saints up the wazoo! By that logic, Clinton must also be just as good a Christian as Dub. Well, except for the time the assistance checks got held up because ... because the Republicans tried to shut down the government! Which, I guess, would make them Satan's minions because they interfered with the government's ability to help people, huh?
If she really believes that distributing public assistance is the hallmark of a good and saintly person, let's hope she's out on the street picketing whenever certain politicians try to cut back veterans' benefits, Social Security, etc.

I am so sorry you deal with this kind of crap. There is just no need for it. So let me ask you a question, is she saying that if we had any other president that they would not be signing your check so you should be thankful for Bu$h? Cause that is the reasoning she seems to be putting forth. I would just explain to her it does not matter who is in charge because you will be getting your check anyway.
As far as the whole Wilson thing, I would ask her why Wilson has not been arrested and brought up on charges of treason. It is a serious thing to out an agent. There is only one reason I can come up with and it is the same reason the CIA, you know, those wonderful folks who actually know about covert activities and people being outed, is having Rove and Libby investigated. And it does not count when they quote Intel reports that Rove is accused of editing himself.
I just don't know if I can deal with these sorts of people any more. I want to convert them but I keep having to fight the overwhelming feeling to choke the heck out of them.
