That is what nearly everyone has failed to address. No one has simply asked the standard question of why. Why was there no curfew and why were there no bed checks on this trip? If things had been better supervised, the beds might have actually have been checked at midnight. Natalee would have been missing then, and her chances of being found would have increased enormously. Instead, she was only discovered absent the following morning. Frankly, that is just not acceptable.
