This goes for the Marks, Springer, Rhodes, the Majority Report and Malloy. They had subs for Laura Flanders when whe was on vac and it was fine -- different people, different points of view, but NEW CONTENT.
Current event shows need to be current.

Conason would not be bad. But more likely they'll replace him with a Randi Rhodes-style ( or worse: a Mike Malloy-style... "LIAR, LIAR, LIAR") fire breather.
And that gets tedious as hell after 30 minutes or so.

I mean they are good shows, but repeats suck. We need to develop a whole generation of progressive talk show hosts - you can't do that if you don't let other get some "stick time".
