Is it just me? Or is there a lot of dead air on Air America Radio? |
|
It seems sometimes, when I tune in, there is nothing, just white noise.
I live in Austin, but you folks in other markets, do you have this problem too?

2. Are you streaming it from your computer? |
|
On some links from local stations, they "blank out" commercial breaks for the stream.
I'm listening to WLIB, and I've seldom heard dead air — only a few moments before the top of the hour news.

4. Our local affiliate does that too. |
|
It must be completely automated, with nobody actually there, because they will have overlapping programs/commercials or dead air that goes on for many minutes on occasion. This is in Columbus, Ohio.
