Allowing ourselves to flourish so that life may flourish |
|
The destruction of life on earth is accelerating as we wait...as we point fingers at the innumerable reasons. We are so much like princes and princesses, waiting for a knight in shining armor. We call upon God, we search for accountable leaders, we ask for the media to change. But it must be understood that we are the ones who have attained this higher form of wisdom. It is we who must embrace this achievement of evolution and do something with it.
It is not enough to waste our energy, the force that powers the grand march that is our human evolution, merely on external faith or hope (if not just finger-pointing). It is not enough to know what's really going on in the world. It is not enough to feel correct as we wallow in shame and guilt. We are responsible for creating the next chapter, and each of us have the power to do it. We are the people who are sensitive to what this world is and what it could be.
Indeed, everything needed to lead this grand march to the next phase of our evolution is inside of us. What world do you want for yourself and your loved ones? What is your ideal world based on? Who do you need to become in order to live your vision? Start down the path to your new world today. Reach out to the right people and cast brilliant new lights on your relationships. Live with both grace and joy. Open yourself to change, to all of life's possibilities. Let go of the feelings of guilt and ignore that voice of reason.
This is a life-and-death battle over life and death itself. How can we expect life to flourish when we do not allow our lives to flourish?

The internal judge, the internal victim and the voices of lies and beliefs dictate who you are and how you live your life.
Stop believing what you are told you are and do what YOU want to be(healthy and positive as YOU define it, that is)

5. The thing is, we actually have enough freedom to live our utopia |

The government is not in our homes if we turn of the TV. The government is not in our relationships if we do not allow it to be. If enough of us do it, it becomes reality.
If only we do it...well at least we made the most of life and did what we could.

12. I don't believe in "utopia". |
|
I believe in humanity,...it's more solid. "Utopia" is too ambiguous.

3. Be the change you hope for! |
|
Have you read:A Diet for a New America, or Diet Revolution? Those books deal with the way we treat the earth and our food supply. Changing our diets could change the world.

We must take control of what we consume (food, information, or otherwise).

at a great time. Sometimes its hard to realize where I, myself, and me end. Nurturing the soul is not something one does well, with both hands on the keyboard, and a mind crammed with illogical factoids. Bringing my world back to me, to this moment in time, is a real gift...thanks

9. You have to seek it. I did it in two days this weekend. |
|

I spent the entire weekend in a tiny apartment with beautiful souls opening up to each other, celebrating great music, and celebrating life. It wasn't planned, but it was allowed.
We must allow ourselves the opportunity to coexist from time to time. The allure of coexistance is that it turns inward the very purpose of being. When two or more people, celebrating life and each other in the same time and place, are able to reach the highest and most beautiful forms of coexistance...then mutual permission is given for individual purpose to be transformed into the very act of being itself. Nothing else matters.
In this sense, coexistance is the creation of a world unto itself. But a world unto itself must be carefully guarded and controlled. So in time, the existance of this world unto itself is inevitably bent and broken by the realities of the world at large...by the forces of nature and of society. Coexistance is, in other words, finite.
The knowledge of this finite nature of coexistance makes emotional strength and courage a prerequisit to the achievement of this state. The state of coexistance will change, be interrupted, and will end. Yet in the end, even if only for a brief moment, can there be any higher level of being than coexistance?
Indeed, being for being's sake is nothing other than the highest level of being.

10. If I ignore my voice of reason, I'd be giving away the power God gave me. |

The power to reason. I'm not an annihilist.
Interesting post, though.

13. That's not reason. That's fear and/or emotion. |
|
Reason has no concern with "don't rock the boat".
