"We live in a time where we have a man who's sending us to war for fictitious reasons". (Oscars, March 23, 2003)
Those words, thought to be utterly inflammatory and ridiculous by most people when uttered in 2003, have now proven to be true and accepted by most people in the country.
No WMDs anywhere, forged documents saying that Iraq was pursuing WMDs... "fictitious reasons". No sane person can now seriously argue that.
I just think it says something about how far we've come.

Michael Moore speaks truth to power. Truth-tellers get mocked and ridiculed all of the time, but in the end, they're always proven correct.

You know if people paid more attention to what Michael Moore was saying a couple of years ago with that Fahrenheit 9/11 movie none of this sh*t would be happening right now and President Bush would be impeached, lol. It's such a laugh, omg people are so stupid nowadays. They can't even realize when they're voting for the wrong president. I mean how many psychos does it take to vote for a republican? not very many because usually the psychos end up killing all the democrats and all that's left is the republican farty er party :P. So anyways I couldn't imagine what it must be like being in the republicans shoes walking around with half a brain all day and leaving the other half in the toilet because they forgot to scoop it out when they were using the bathroom :D. Maybe they need a professional surgeon. You know i have some jokes that i'd like to share with you if you're willing to allow it on the boards and i'd be glad to post them on these boards. I love a good political joke every once in awhile. I hope to hear from you soon, good luck in all you do.
Signed, Greg "Michael Moore was a great man, if more people paid attention to what he said he wouldn't have left and gone home to be with his family and stopped being such an avid democrat."-By Greg Gumina

Or John Kerry would've been elected by a majority even Diebold couldn't have hidden.

Jon Stewart would not mind giving Michael Moore and short segment once a week, similar to like what Lewis Black does. Or, let Micheal Moore do his show while Jon is on vacation?
I don't understand why liberals get upset with Michael Moore. His means of getting the truth across are unique, but he is always accurate and thought provoking. Maybe cuz they can't control him.

but would they listen? Noooo.
There a saying that "the future is already here it just isn't evenly distributed" (think high tech gadgets) - to paraphrase for Michael Moore's case "the truth is already here it just arrives at different times".
Moore is right and always way ahead of the curve. Can't wait for his next two movies.

|
footage clips from: this quote by Michael Moore, Colin Powell and Condi Rice saying that Saddam was no threat, Cheney saying that we know Saddam has WMDs and we know where they are, Bush saying that the Brits had proof that Saddam was trying buy "yellowcake" from Niger, Richard Perle saying that Iraq was a threat to the entire region, Bush saying "Mission Accomplished," Bush reading to the kindergarten class on 9/11, DeLay's election 2000 henchmen in FL rioting at the election recount, The House Managers walking into chambers to impeach Clinton, and a few other jewels that I can't remember. Someone would have to put these in the right chron order. But wouldn't it make a terrific 30 sec ad?
