Mr. Pac Man forces Ms. Pac Man to keep his name, and even similar grooming habits, so that he can control what she is like.

So what do they do? They jump on owls and turtles and fish, symbolizing their contempt for the environment, and when they have the option (by harvesting a rare and hidden plant of course) the sadistic bastards fling fire at the endangered species. Sometimes they find a hidden star that makes them invincible (PCP?) and kill the other animals with a touch (I don't want to know what that's all about. Feelings of isolation, perhaps?)

Then they go through shortcuts shaped like sewer pipes (a symbol of bypassing environmental regulations to get ahead.) After wandering around in dungeons some more (suggesting an S&M fetish, perhaps) they finally do battle with Gannon (angry reptile, symbolizing Dick Cheney, who was Sec Def when the game came out) and save Princess (poor example for girls, she ought to be Doctor Toadstool or something) Toadstool (PENIS!!!)

I spent a lot of time playing that game growing up. No wonder I'm so weird.
