Is it a coincidence that Santorum's book is called
it takes a family, after H. Clinton's it takes a village?

1. NeoCons aren't known for their originality or creativity
Witness all the time FReepers spend shadowing DU and making up fourms and sites dedicated to following our every move.

2. That was the very first thing I thought too, that he was trying to slam
the notion of society and trying to rein everything back within the confines of a mythological 1950s Ward/June nookyooler fan-damily.
What a moron. Must have half a ball somewhere to go on Stewart's show, probably knowing he'd get booed.

4. Did you hear the Daily Show audience chuckle when they
showed the cover. It looks like a freaking bible.

5. I don't even know why he went there
He correctly noted that last week, when Stewart said that he was going to be the guest, he was booed, and was not even there.

I know that someone once wrote a paper, or something, that what we consider the "ideal family" of mom staying at home (cleans the house and cooks wearing high heels and pearls) and kids are left alone to study and to play until they are 21, or so, existed for only a few decades.

That in most families every one had to work hard just to keep food, clothing and shelter. This is why girls were married at 13 (saw another thread here) to have less mouths to feed.
