14. They're all blindly pro-Israel... |
|
with the possible exception of Dean and the almost-certain exception of Dennis Kucinich. That's American politics for you.

6. I'm thrilled that Clark is winning. But I'm also amazed considering |
|
the level of paranoid insanity against Clark I read on this board. For instance, I just read a thinly veiled comparison between Clark and bin Laden. The virulent anti-Clark people have gone nuts, IMHO. They are now so far off the deep end, I fear they may be lost and adrift in a perpetual sea of hate.
And I really don't get why. Clark's my man, but I like Dean, Kerry, Sharpton, and the rest (aside from LIEberman) very much. I just think Clark has a better chance of winning; plus I agree with virtually all of the policies he's presented.

but I voted Bob Graham so he would have at least 1 vote. He deserves that. I feel that he can bring in NASCAR dads and a lot of conservative white Democrats in the south who feel left out.

And the VFW voters too. He beats Bushco hands down with the guys I'm stationed with.

9. we need a poll that narrows it down |
|
How about one with just Clark, Dean, Kerry, Edwards, Gephardt, Lieberman.
I'm just curious where the Braun, Sharpton, Kucinich, Graham crowd goes.

11. I was trying to fair and include all candidates at this point. |
|
Didn't want to create a flame-fest from supporters of candidates they are fervent about, but the odds of them being front-runners are very much against them. However, to be fair these 10 are are candidates at this point, so we have to go with that.

24. I'm a Kucinich supporter, but |
|
I voted for Clark. The question was "how many dems do you think the candidates can bring in". I love Dennis and his views are mine, but pragmatically speaking, he is not going to appeal to the middle, unfortunately. I'm hoping that his supporters can keep his ideals in front of the party and influence the platform; and, I have high hopes for his future.

27. Not to Clark, Dean, Kerry, Edwards, Gephardt, or Lieberman. |
|
Some of us wouldn't vote in that poll, because we aren't casting a vote for your choices in the primary.

though he might alienate a few of the swing voters, a large number of Greens will return to the Dems if he gets nominated.
The only trouble is, of course, getting him nominated, which will certainly be very difficult...

I don't buy all this about Clark hurting Dean. Kerry and Edwards are the ones hurt by the Clark candidacy.

I think he hurts Kerry and Edwards. Kerry with the military vote he has been targeting and Edwards in the south.
