This is the situation: John Roberts is a Supreme Court nominee who has argued that Roe v. Wade should be overturned. With a woman's right to choose under attack from all sides -- remaining silent is not an option.

4. Did anyone call in today?

Just completed my calls, and thought I would check in here...

If the fact that the number just rang and rang, eventually cutting me off with a busy signal is any indication--quite a few people called in. So many that the call lines were jammed!

7. For every email I've sent, I've received the identical responses in return

... each senator has her standard similar response... advice & consent... fair & impartial... rest assured, I will review Judge Roberts' record, blah, blah, blah.

Yet I keep sending the emails & letters, signing the petitions, and calling.

8. I got one of those, too.

Thankfully, one my other senator has not responded that way. I'm hoping it is because she plans to come out swinging against this guy. She did against Condi, knowing she would probably still make it in, but did it anyway.

I'm hoping she does the same with this...
