Either Stop letting the Mexican Slaves in or Stop Hiring them. |
|
we let the slaves come over our borders to do the hard work of putting food on our luxurious tables. they have no rights, no homes, no living standards, and then when their hard work is done, they are sent back home, unwelcome.
we arrest illegal immigrants, but we don't arrest the assholes who hire them and profit from their sufferings. stupid.

If we need illegal immigrants over here for our economy, then find a way to make them legal. If companies keep hiring other illegals, then enforce the law and punish them.

It's like NAFTA in reverse. Instead of sending jobs to cheap labor, the cheap labor is sent to the jobs.

This is an easy problem to correct...punish those who hire...and the "problem" will end....but...hey....if you get a chance..rent the dvd..."a day without a mexican"....it is a comedy, but really lays it out. And then there is this....we do need the slaves to continue...so we cannot solve this problem...because we do not really want to solve it....we just make on going noise about it...to perpetuate the "bad" mexican prejudice...so that we can continue to dehumanize them...and then we feel ever so much better about "using" them....abusing them...and then arresting them..and sending them back.

6. I always think about what's on the Statue of Liberty: |

Give me your tired, your poor... what ever happened to those sentiments? Living in TX, there are many Mexicans here and as far as I'm concerned, they have just as much of a right to be here as I do. Seems to me there's much ado about nothing to scare people and deflect attention from the major problems Americans face.

I wish the US and Mexico could merge into one country. Think about it.

The reason the US has always allowed immigrants into this country in large numbers has been to exploit them for cheap labor. Even if we agree with that, the fact is that this country is finite and immigration is what is causing the population to grow. By mid-century, we will be approaching the half-billion mark. Frankly, our population growth is an environmental catastrophe. We should be encouraging negative population growth, not letting more people in.
Remember, the more of us there are, the less each one of us is worth: supply and demand.
