LynnTheDem and frictionlessO are part of the team that keeps the Iraq Coalition Casualty Count web site current.

They do this seven days a week, 365 (366 in a leap year) days a year. The site is awesome, and is well worth your time to explore.

I check this site at least three or four times a day, and it breaks my heart every time. I cannot imagine gathering, collating, and posting this bad news day after day. I can only imagine what this costs them on a personal level. Their devotion to the cause cannot be understated.

If you feel the same way as I do, a kick and a nominate to this thread would be a small token of appreciation for their efforts.

2. I didn't realize that this was their site. I used to go there early on in

the war to find out the Truth. It became too heartbreaking to me. Kudos to Lynn and Frictionless. Thank you for this heroic work. Nominating. :)

and a small personal note:

Every morning before my son went to school last year, I checked the site for the latest news and casualty numbers so he would have them when confronted for his anti-war stance.

Just one 17 year-old armed with the grim reality. Day after day. You became a part of our lives.

I can't imagine the toll it takes to provide the service, and sure as hell wish it wasn't needed. But wanted to let you know it's appreciated.

Through the tears, the grief, the frustration and the anger, thank you.
