J. Miller's phone records and notes. Read this in a year old mag (The Washingtonian Nov. '04) at work today. Am I just out of the loop?

3. I used to want to attend Pepperdine
No, it was never a serious thing, and I didn't even know it was a religious school. I just remember looking at a map while in high school and seeing the university pretty much on the beach in Malibu. I decided that was the school for me.

In the end, I opted for the prestige of the local junior college instead.
