sorry, was hard not to vent... the more calm and rational post below:
I need a list of the 15 Dems who broke the pack from Pelosi and Hoyer whom Whiped on this, and voted FOR CAFTA. Who are these folks...
These are NOT Democrats!!!!!
Yes I am upset....
Stay tuned for a PDA action alert.. its time to bury these (ehem) jerks.
I also need a roll call vote number. Do you have it?
Stay tuned for an action alert!

That only 15 voted for it.
So much for party unity.
And the DLC wants us to side with them...
So much for party unity.
Not when the party is for the corporate elite.

How about 35k PDA members get pissed at the TWO HUNDRED Republicans who voted FOR this thing. The point IS to inform America what the Republian Party is doing to them, right? Why confuse people when the overwhelming majority of Dems didn't vote for it? You really want people to continue thinking they're all the same??? Is that the real PDA agenda?

Write me a draft letter as if you were writing YOUR Congressmen/woman regardless of Repug or Dem... saying THANK YOU for voting the way they did to protect jobs/rights/environment, etc...
Then... have fun with this...
Write me a letter as if you were writing your Congressman/woman scolding them for their vote (regardless of party affiliation)
The sooner I get some drafts... I can get this alert out...
please send me your best to kevin@pdamerica.org
Thanks team! Put your frustrations to work... lets get this out SOON!

battle next year, didn't vote?
Cheney was in Pittsburgh this week for a fundraiser for Murphy. Why didn't the coward Murphy show his constituents where he stood on CAFTA?
I hope Barbara Hafer(D) runs for his seat in Congress. She has a good chance of beating his sorry ass.
Edit: I just saw that he voted yes. That's trouble for him here in PA!

39. Reading you wanted a "fucking list" |
|
sounded so dirty and why would you need a list and why would we get it for you? So I clicked on the topic.
But then I see it is politics. It's CAFTA. It is the bad kind of fucking, free of fun. It is the kind of dirty that soils the soul.
I wonder if even ONE person who voted for it believed it was good for the country, beyond it being good for corporate America. I wonder if any are ashamed. You can almost feel the sick glee of the administration and their groupies who were pushing for it.
Two votes. Bad for the Americans on both sides of treaty. Good for the greedy. Who do they serve?
'Ye cannot serve God and Mammon.' I know it's Democrats who screwed us that is most surprising, but it's funny how we can count on the moral, god faking hypocrites to always choose mammon.
