Let's see their names!
It doesn't matter what Congress does, the people of Central America will reject CAFTA.

Run a candidate against them in the primaries! There's still time to organize a campaign.

18. All NC Delegation save one were against as of last week |
|
Bush came to Gaston County, home of lots of unemployed textile millworkers, to push this piece of crap. The only congressional district that he could safely go to was the 9th, home of uber-rightwing suckup Congresswoman Sue Myrick. He was going to go to Republican Howard Coble's district, but Coble let it be known that there was no way he was going to change his vote and he was voting against it.
Charles Taylor, R NC-11, had not voted last I saw. He may have changed his mind and voted with Bush. If he did, then he will most certainly hear about it in 2006. He is vulnerable, with some recent shady dealings coming to light, and now his opponent will be former pro football player Heath Shuler. The Bushies probably promised him major campaign bucks at the last minute to get his vote, but it will come back to haunt him anyway if he voted for this piece of crap.
