Should Pharmacists be allowed to dispense "Faith Healing"
or substitute scripture verses for medications they do not personally like?

You know, the standard questions;

"Is generic ok?"

"Can I recommend this preacher instead of the medication your doctor has prescribed?"

2. The problem is if they don't fill the Rxs but continue to work their
thinking they are doing their job, filling Viagra and blood pressure pills, but not birth control.

Unless they are fired and have their licenses suspended, they could still work as pharmacists and cause people not to get their prescriptions filled.

3. Hi stewarde!
Your post was spot on.

As far as substituting faith healing, that would be like prescribing an entirely different drug---which they have no authority to do. But as freaky as it is becoming out there, eventually one of the lunatics will try to do so :(

Welcome to DU!!! :hi:

4. if they pull that crap, use my five point plan
1. blacklist the pharmacist
2. blacklist the chain the pharmacist worked at
3. boycott the chain allowing the pharmacist to pull that crap
4. protest the chain allowing the pharmacist to pull that crap
5. protest wherever the pharmacists on the blacklists go to work

6. The Christian radical right has tried a form of preventative health care
in the form of abstinence pledges...I believe the results were an increase in teen pregnancy and anal warts. Can you imagine what the world would be like if everyone suddenly decided they would no longer perform any portion of their job that conflicted with their personal beliefs??? These people are friggin crazy!:wtf:

7. Jesus didn't charge to heal anyone
Hmm he was for free health care. Is that why the conservatives put him on the cross?
