Should we get Warren Beatty or Martin Sheen to challenge Diane Fienstein?
I'd go with Sheen, for the Senate but either would kick ass.

Which do you like?

7. She not a democrat, and the only reason she is still around is cause
repukes keep threatening to overturn Roe v Wade.

She also pushed for Diebold in CA, she has ties to Enron, her husband does business with Lockheed Martin. She votes with repugs on every trade bill you could imagine, she is a rich bitch who continually fucks over the American people and the people that put her in office.

I hate her, for the hundreds of thousands of people that now have no retirement thanks to Enron. People that worked their entire lives, now have nothing. My heart goes out to them and I blame Diane for not evening thinking twice before she cozied up to Enron and fucked them all over.

Screw her and her war voting, big oil voting, Patriot Act voting ass.

Does that answer your question?

But the anger in this thread is aimed at Dino Fienstein, not you.

Peace.
:)

27. Being a constituent of hers is a real bitch!
"Judas" Feinstein is all about Feinstein. Period. She has been a burden to the party, IMO. I don't believe that her active participation in all of this madness should bear no consequence. Actions have consequences. I will never vote for her again. Ever.

Peace.

Hell, I'd be happy with any liberal.

But "Jed Bartlet" as a real-life US senator? Too cool for words. B-)

12. Sheen was also a Dean democrat, I'll never forget that he and Meathead
campaigned for Dean.

I love Sheen and think that he would be a great Senator.

31. Historically, most Hollywood people who've entered politics. . .
have done so as a conservative: Ronald Reagan, George Murphy, Sonny Bono, Fred Thompson. Very few have been successful on the Democratic ticket, and in fact, most Democratic actors who have run recently have lost decisively.

There's an interesting discussion of this, along with some convincing rationale for why Democratic actors have such a hard time winning, at this website:

nothing against either of the names put forward, mind you. But as noted above -- we have a shitload of well-placed and very well qualified people who could do the job.

I'm pretty sure her and her war profiteering husband should be able to retire off the money they've made over this war (plus I'm sure the tax cuts she voted for helps).

24. Please. Enough with the Hollywood crap.

Bill Hicks is sadly dead, and there isn't any other "celebrity" I would vote for...

(Hmmm. Okay, Maybe Chris Rock)

I agree that DiFi has gone WAY too Republican-lite lately..

But we have plenty of skilled Democrats in this state that aren't movie stars.
