Moby says he respects Eminem because he criticized Bush

HONG KONG Electronic musician Moby says he has a newfound respect for Michigan rap star Eminem because he criticized President Bush and the war in Iraq in his last album.

....

Moby and Eminem have a long-standing feud.

Moby has criticized Eminem's lyrics as misogynistic.

Eminem lashed out at Moby and electronic music in "Without Me" and spoofed him in the song's video.

Eminem criticized Bush and Iraq policy in his song "Mosh."

5. interesting tidbit in another thread
Someone said they did a phone poll, and only 15 out of 500 respondents said they voted for Bush.

4. I think Eminem came out with that song a little too late
Too late for the youth to register, and get momentum. It really was a pretty cool song.

7. Unfortunately the label decides the release date
Edited on Thu Jul-28-05 10:28 AM by ohio_liberal
They did bump the release date up and Mosh w/video was released in advance. The netroots had it on MTV's TRL within 24 hours, so that was way cool.

Edited to add:
I think "Rock the Vote" had incredible impact on voter registration this time around. And don't forget Diddy's "Vote or Die" campaign.
