8. Weather has been odd in East Anglia this morning.
I'm in Cambridge, and it's certainly felt somewhat odd. Rain in the middle of the day, then much warmer and muggier into the afternoon. About as close to Tornado weather as I've seen England. (Granted I've only been here six months.)

2. What's a mini-tornado?
Never heard of such a thing.

But then, I grew up in Kansas.

4. A tornado? In Birmingham, UK?
I didn't know they had tornados in the UK.

Did they?

7. More tornadoes per unit of land area than anywhere in the world, oddly.
On average about 30 or so a year, according to this: http://www.severewx.co.uk/tnfaq.htm
