and it looks like it was written by an idiot ("Marshal" is misspelled, as is "Al Qaeda/Qaida", not to mention all of the unnecessary capitalisation).

On looking at the site linked from the article, it would appear that this individual is a delusional paranoid schizophrenic who is sadly in need of Thorazine.

Definitely delusional & paranoid, though!

I just spent a few minutes there;
that guy is full of some VERY crazy bullshit.

Your 'Thorazine' idea seems very reasonable after reading his Site.

18. It's both.
It's above ground outside the Loop, and even above the street in parts of the Loop itself (hence the "El"), but much of it is underground within the Loop.

go to ground level up north, too. The Orange line goes to ground level out west and the Blue line is at ground level where it's in the middle of the expressways.

And the Yellow line doesn't even enter Chicago.

28. I give up.
What's the "two buildings" question about? Are you talking about the WTC? Because neither one of them would have come anywhere near "terminal velocity," and lots and lots of people spent a whole lot of time asking why they fell. They didn't all come up with the same answers, but it wasn't like the subject never came up...

53. As it turns out while plenty of people have questioned the collapse
Many more have concluded that your a nut for even suggesting such things. Yes the towers did fall at a rate that would have been consistent with free fall, which begs the asking of many more questions.

As for the multitude of individuals seeking for themselves answers to their own questions, it does little when the media culture is to ignore what might get them ostracized. When there is no freedom to ask questions there is no freedom.

I am just pissy today for that I am sorry.

You find this guy a credible source for a shoot out and deaths in the Chicago subway, along with Fed charges that all go completely unnoticed although it happens in a public place, and in the midst of all this he tosses in

"Federal Whistleblower Tom Heneghan's tires were stolen off his car today in broad daylight..." which of course must be attributed to "Bush Goons."

Because we know no one ever gets tires stolen off their car without the BCF being involved....

"Bush & Blair obviously are trying to cause a Terrorist attack in America..." but apparently the US Marshals didn't get the memo, working as they were with French intelligence....

58. I was on the red line that day
I live in chitown and was going to the Sox game that night (7/18/05 v the Detroit Tigers). The Redline goes right in front of Comiskey (still wont call it u.s.cellular.field) so I was heading to the Grand Redline stop.

When I got there, Chicago's finest were blocking all the entries at Grand. I chatted up the copper to see what the deal was and he said the red and blue lines were shut down and that's all he knew. My buddy, who was going to the game with me, got stopped at Belmont and had to cab downtown to meet me. He said the same- red & blue line shut down. So to my knowledge the redline was shut down from belmont or fullerton through the chinatown stop. Don't know the specifics with the blueline but I am assuming it was all the underground stops in the loop and downtown.

I headed to the Rockbottom Brewery for a couple cold ones and to rethink how to get down to Comiskey but within an hour it was back to business as usual and the redline was ready to ride.

FWIW I did see 4 guys in tuxedo's drinking martini's, shaken and not stirred, just prior to the redline and bluelines getting shut down. They had british accents and I remember one's name to be James.

Things that make you go HHHmmmmm....LOL!

61. Oh dear god, here's what really happened
You'd think by now people would be able to use Google effectively. :eyes:

BTW, I live in Chicago, take public transit regularly and no, there were no British Agents trying to bomb the subway.

Here's the scoop from the premier CTA blog, the CTA tattler. Trust me, if there was a shoot out on the el, this blog would know about it:

July 19, 2005
Messy rush hour caused by unattended package
What a mess rush hour was last night on CTA rail lines.

An unattended package forced evacuation of a Red Line train at Roosevelt at about 4:45 pm. Passengers were herded off the train and then led to the elevated tracks in the Loop, where Red Line trains were sitting above ground taking on delayed passengers.

And when the Red Line joins the Purple and Brown Line trains on the same track, you can bet on long delays. Some folks sat in trains at one spot for 30 minutes or so.

The CTA was its usual reticent self. Though it did post this terse announcement on it Web site.
