1. Yikes, that is scary. Parents are basically paying for brainwashing
tactics to be used on their children. I find both programs unbelievable ... what happens to those kids?

their kids to Jamaica so someone else can beat the tar out of them for acting up?

4. Yeah, that's pretty much the whole point of the place
I consider Tranquility Bay much worse than Refuge. Not to belittle Refuge's badness, which is extreme, but so far as I can tell Refuge doesn't kidnap its customers, cast them into irons and fly them to a part of Jamaica that's so remote, most Jamaicans don't know where it is. Refuge also apparently doesn't have guards in towers watching the fence to make sure the little gay people don't get out, and they don't offer rewards for turning in any clients who may escape.
