IMO, Wag the Dog is a MUST for BushCo right now...anyone else with me that they really have no choice at this point?

The horror of this thought is what it WILL be.

To get the country scared and so called pulled together against
the Terra ists?

4. At this point, I think it could be anything...saber rattling with Iran

could lead somewhere, N. Korea, China, Taiwan, mass casualty event. I would not put ANYTHING past them. They almost HAVE to, don't you think.

5. I don't think they are in that desperate a situation yet.

Bush just stole a big win on CAFTA and he'll get several other of his priorities passed with Democratic help in congress. He'll get Roberts approved.

They've succeeded in getting the Rove/Traitorgate issue quieted down somewhat. Bush still has approval ratings in the mid 40s.

It is amazing to me, given the total corruption and ineptitude of this bunch, but they aren't in that deep a hole right now. Enough sheeple are still on board to blunt any charges.

Fitzgerald could change that in a hurry if he issued a few indictments. But, right now, the Bush crew has some breathing room.
