Bolton recess nomination, Bush will give us the finger again.
Only this time he's sticking it up our ass. The administration's hubris makes me feel like we really are living in a dictatorship. And another stolen election will confirm it.

In an interview on NPR tonight Condi basically said it was going to happen. to paraphrase, "We would like an up or down vote, but this is an important position that needs to be filled." I guess my hope is that if he is appointed he'll go down with the rest who were complicit in outing Plame.

1. It's the only way
Bunnypants can install that epic turd of a candidate into the UN, but it'll be just be a pit stop before he faces the Grand Jury for perjury for lying about Niger uranium to the Senate Intel Comm.

2. Bolton is a posterboy for the Bush administration
Not one person in the administration responsible for trumpeting the war in Iraq has been punished or been otherwise held accountable for the WMD fiasco. Most have been rewarded. Tenet, I guess, took a fall but, of course, he received the "American Medal of Freedom" too.

This administration is more corrupt than anything in my memory -- which includes Nixon.

4. Bolton and John Roberts both had big roles in the 2000 travesty.
Payback time. Bush rewards ineptitude and his loyalists.

3. What you feel is correct, kohodog

"The administration's hubris makes me feel like we really are living in a dictatorship."

Dictatorship (from Dictionary.com)

noun : a form of government in which the ruler is an absolute dictator (not restricted by a constitution or laws or opposition etc.)

Not restricted by a constitution of laws or opposition. Sounds like Smirkolini, doesn't it?

5. These are sorry times indeed.
I wonder what strategy to take to right the ship. Petitioning, getting out the vote and other normal activities may not cut it any longer. I'm not an advocate of violence so we're going to need to get creative. I thing mass actions will become necessary and that will be no small task.

6. Recess Appt = Poster-sign of Anti-Democracy & Failure
It will show how unsuccessful Shrub is in navigating the currents of democracy, lack of astuteness and skill, how arrogant he is in imposing an unsuccessful choice, and BOLTON-the-A-hole will be instantly discredited poster-boy of the Shrub Mal-administration. This is who Shrub is: Why would be expect him to nominate anybody of excellence or reason to any post? I say let'im rip it.
