3. Because the following answer is missing:
Won't be impeached because the Dems aren't the same low-life, vindictive, mother fucking asshole losers that the Repubs are.

amazing isn't it. they impeached they friggin President of the United States because he didn't want to publicly admit he got a blow job. Hell, what married man would admit it? Not that he should have cheated, but to topple the elected leader of the country over it? What a bunch of low-life, vindictive, mother fucking asshole losers.

5. Probably won't be impeached unfortunately
As much as he deserves to be impeached NOW, it probably won't happen. Impeachment is a political process. Reagan who deserved to be impeached over the Iran/Contra treason wasn't because Tip O'Neil. was smart enough to realise that impeaching a popular President during economic good times was a loosing proposition, Clinton was impeached over his personal life because Gingrich and his cronies weren't nearly as smart as O'Neil.

As long as the House and Senate are controlled by the GOP, there will not be enough people of good concious there to put the country ahead of thier own party's political schemes. Therefore, as much as Bush* deserves impeachment more than any other President, it probably won't happen unless/until he becomes such a huge liability in his second term (if such a huge calamity as a 2nd Bush* terms were to befall this country).

8. Why do you think that?
Don't you think America will wake up and throw his ass out?

13. To be perfectly honest -- no, I don't
From the people that I've spoken with who buy the spin that Bush is a good Christian man who was misinformed and the media who keeps feeding that drivel to the American people, I can't see any way that America is going to "wake up". If a miracle happens and people do start to wake up, I fully believe that the Bush people will create another national crisis to provide a distraction. The House and Senate Democrats will "stand behind the President" in a "spirit of bipartisanship" and more of our freedoms will be ripped away. Past history has proven this.

The crop of presidential candidates I see so far gives me a little hope. I'm afraid that the ones who might make some changes won't be nominated/elected and the ones that can be nominated/elected will do so by maintaining the status quo.

How did Truman put it? If the choice is between a fake Republican and a real Republican, people wil vote for the real Republican every time?

I'm sorry. I need to be more optimistic and hopeful for the chances of this country's survival. I'm just not.

10. If he is re-selected.
I would then think that a civil war or at least a rush on the supremem court would be in order. Never again, it is our duty not to let them steal it again.

9. * isn't Reagan
the economy sucks, and his popularity polls are headed downhill fast. * may become enough of a liability to his party soon that they'll be willing to jettison him to save their own skins.

11. Bush will pack his bags not soon enough!
If Bush is re-elected (or selected) for a 2nd term I strongly believe he will be the first president to be impeached and removed from office.

But hopefully in '04 he'll get the boot and we won't have to suffer under such ignorance.

14. I'm not real certain...
but this is major, major stuff..and it's blatant and obvious enough for people to 'get it' once the press finally rubs their noses in it. I think the outrage will be loud, and the cries for a lynching will come fast. I see a quick and bloody impeachment. There is a conservative site I post on and today one of Georgies most ardent supporters asked me (in a totally sincere way) to explain to her why he would risk his credibility by adding those 16 words when he could have left them out and made his case for war. For the first time ever she was actually listening instead of ranting..so I very quietly and patiently walked her through the whole nine yards...and explained that there never was a case for war that would have been supported by the average american.

It's hard to believe....but I think this time she actually heard me. If Bush is losing the people that have defended him as vehemently as this woman had in the past,he's in big trouble.
