Painting causes stir in local library

"CHESAPEAKE — The oil painting of a partially clothed woman still hangs in the Chesapeake Public Library’s central branch.

But it’s a lot harder to find.

For almost two weeks this month, the painting, called “Morning Dreamer,” appeared on a wall near the library’s main entrance, along with other works by local painter Karen Kinser. Roughly 12,000 people walked past the piece, based on library estimates that a thousand people a day visit the building on Cedar Road.

But after two patrons complained about children seeing the artwork, the library staff in mid-July moved the painting to the other side of the building, behind some bookshelves..."

These fucking people (puritanical Christo-Facists) are really pissing the hell out of me lately. Why do people seem to quiver in their presence, piss themselves, and submit to their demands. I would have told them to go tutor their damned spawn at their church if they were so offended.

I just looked at the painting at the link and can say there is absolutely nothing even remotely objectionable about it. How on earth do these people go past the covers of Cosmopolitan, US, etc. in the grocery store check out line without keeling over dead? I assume they don't have television in the house. You'd only have to watch about 10 seconds before you saw something more titillating than that painting... sorry, something about this story deeply annoyed me.
