Too bad there's not an ad against spending so much on ads to try and destroy your opponent. The Repubs have reportedly shoveled in $500K into Ohio to try and destroy Paul Hackett. All of a sudden, they don't feel so confident. ANd they have such a short time to sway the people. And look at their strategy. I hope he kicks their asses!

1. Republicans are pro-defense....
they don't give a rat's behind about the working class fodder that makes
up the military.

8. Don't say defense
Defense is the new name given to the Dept. of War after WWII. The repugs dont care about defense (9/11) they want WAR.

3. RUNNING for congress
and running away from service in the military ..the so called
pro military repuke party has very few Veterans
BUT they sure know how to profit their way through these 3 wars: Iraq Afi and GWOT

nothing worse than a chikenhawk who cheers the blood but sheds none.

chikenhawks = traitors

IF the 25 million Veterans could just wake up then the party would be finally over for the war mongering chikenhawks

BIGGEST IF in my life!!

12. and war profiteers
"War is a racket.Always has been."
Maj. Gen Smedley Darlington Butler

very sad that the highest ranks in the pentagon are more worried about their retirement than the safety and sanity of the USA .
TREASON and the pentagon is silent to a bunch of bullies, cowards and civilians who NEVER wore the uniform..They should all hang their heads in shame.

they are an embarrassment to the many good officers and enlisted who served that flag with HONOR and dignity.

BTW Westy died I wonder if his ghost knows the depths of this TREASON??!!

" a few good men." LIKE HELL!

5. I hope so too
Way to support a trooper eh? Someone who actually went to Iraq! He didn't have to either since he was honorably discharged.

7. Or when they themselves have to sign up
Look what they did to John Kerry and Max Clealand too. Imagine picking on an amputee like Max. And than there was that whole purple heart band aid fiasco at the rnc primiary that just made me sick to my stomach. My old man was a career marine DI after that stunt he said he would never again wear the uniform.

9. Rethugs are NOT pro-military
and this is the message that we need to get across. They are pro-military BUDGET so that their defense contractor contributors can make an obscene amount of money. They do not care one stinking bit about the human side of the military. Soldiers are just so many "things" to be used and discarded when no longer of any use to them.

I hope Major Hackett keeps spitting in their eye; as a Buckeye it gives me enormous pride to say he is one of our own. The Democratic Party needs more like him to tell it like it really is and take no bullshit from the liars.

13. You speak the truth
They thrown in an occassional war to try to justify the kind of out of control spending they love. Keep the threat active and all be in the state of preparation. That's what keeps the Repug economy going. Where did I just read that Haliburton is receiving "bonuses" to the tune of 10's of millions of dollar for the good work it is doing in Iraq? Haliburton's profits are up over 200% thanks to all you generous taxpayers.
