Bush proposes 51st State
The State of Denial
Since almost half of the US electorate seems to live there, it would generate more seats in Congress since Tom Delay's Gerrymandering of Texas.

With this crew of criminals in the White House, you never can tell.

Up is down.
Lies are truth.
Thruth or lies.
Treson is honor.
Honor is treason.

10. Why not a remote island where all the rich can isolate themselves?
Given the rapacious approach to their lives which the uber wealthy have taken - to the point of gutting their own corporations if they can walk away with the $$$, and the destruction of air and water quality, not to mention global warming - again, as long as they can "MAKE MORE MONEY THIS QUARTER", it has seemed to me that they must have some plan to move offshore to a self-sustaining island with a huge bubble over it to control air quality, and a private army to protect them.

Just take the issue of asthma's relationship to air quality - don't these wealthy people care about their own grandchildren' quality of life, even if they don't give a shit about humanity in general?

11. Air Quality....
yeah, needs improving. This may sound trivial, but its bad for pets too. Had a sick cat this week, partly due to air pollution, according to Vet. Sad isn't it, reminds me of the song, "Bless the beasts and the children, for in this world, they have no voice, they have no choice."
