"Bush Pronounced Fit For Duty"......yeah right
BETHESDA, Md.(AP) President Bush was pronounced "fit for duty" after an annual checkup Saturday that showed that the 59-year-old commander in chief, an avid mountain bike rider, has lost 8 pounds since his last physical exam in December.

"I'm feeling pretty good," Bush said as he left the National Naval Medical Center in suburban Washington.

In December, Bush weighed 199.6 pounds, 6 pounds more than in the summer of 2003, a gain he attributed to munching too many doughnuts during his re-election campaign.

On Saturday, the scale showed the nearly 6-foot Bush at 191.6 pounds.

A statement signed by doctors who participated in the three-hour exam said the president was in good health and that there is "every reasonable expectation that he will remain fit for duty for the duration of his presidency."

6. Avid mountain biker? yeah, right....
The guy loves slamming his face into the dirt.

Bush needed something to make him look macho, and his old cheerleading
gig just didn't do the trick, so he chose mountain biking. Guess he didn't
realize the need to actually stay on the bike.

So, will we ever find out what is wrong with Bush?

7. Too bad they don't check him for mental disorders like pathological
lying, murdering and torturing for fun and games.

8. Gee, what a surprise!
Not!

I'm never given a clean bill of health until my blood work comes back.

BTW, when did he become an "avid mountain bike rider?" :wtf: He can't even ride on a level surface, much less up and down mountainous terrain. Fuck these doctors!

9. Good, then he can
fulfill his broken promise to the TANG. He owes his country 17 months of service. I believe the punishment at the time, if you didn't show up for duty when you got the cushy assignment he had, was, you were sent to the front.

11. I also heard
...that Bill Frist said that "he was responding to visual stimuli."

16. *rotfl* ~ that's a good one!
Bill Frist probably made that diagnosis after he saw the video of his 'hostile finger' response to the visual stimuli of reporters daring to ask questions for a change?

I was just thinking how lucky he is to have medical coverage which enables him to have an annual physical. And even though we the people pay for it, we are NOT allowed in to his tax-dollar-paid-for rallies unless we sign a loyalty oath!!

12. he underwent an annual PHYSICAL which did not include a MENTAL HEALTH exam
they would have otherwise found him NOT FIT FOR OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE U.S.A.

13. "the nearly six foot bush"
Oh, for cryin' out loud. Avid mountain bike rider my a**. Nearly 6-foot means 5'11 maybe? Munching doughnuts during his *re-selection* campaign. Barf.

"I'm feeling pretty good," bush said, "so good, I might just start another war, heh heh."

I'm in no mood to be told Little Boots is in good health when we'll soon hit the 2,000 dead soldiers mark. F*ck him.

17. His only duty is knocking back hard liquor
So it's not surprising that he's fit to do that.

Isn't it curious that this time around we get the full report within hours, while last year the physical results had to be held up until after the election?

18. Bush has stopped publishing the texts of his annual physicals
The last and only time he's made public the signed medical report written by the doctors who have examined him was the first exam he took in August, 2001. That exam is available at the White House's website. Since that time, we haven't had the opportunity to read his full medical history, a list of medications being prescribed if any, a list of any accidents suffered during the year and consequences, etc. The only reports we've received have been second-hand press releases, but we haven't had the benefit to read the full text of his doctor's report, which have been kept confidential.

Here's the text of the only physical exam report Bush has allowed the public to see, dated August 6, 2001, in the written words of his own examining doctors:
