PHOTO: War hero Toby Keith unveils 90 lb. burger at his restaurant

http://www.reviewjournal.com/lvrj_home/2005/Jul-23-Sat-2005/news/26929184.html
Country music star Toby Keith unveiled the biggest burger in Las Vegas on Friday, but truth be told, his Oklahoma heart belongs to baloney.

Keith's co-star at a media event at Harrah's to promote his I Love This Bar and Grill was a 90-pound cheeseburger shaped like a guitar....

"I know when you do these theme kind of things, everything's there but the food," Keith said.

"The food (usually) sucks. I told these guys going in I do not want to put up with that. I don't want to be at some football game or a Super Bowl and have somebody say, 'Hey, your steak sucks.'"
=====

Note: Fine. How about, "Hey, your music sucks!"

12. Then you're missing out on some good music. There's plenty
of good country music out there; it just won't be found on the commercial country stations.

There are a lot of people that are fans of country music, myself included, that despise everything this ass clown Keith stands for and his and his generations "Country" music.

To me Country music has been dead for about 20 years, maybe longer, and clowns like Keith are just pissing on the grave.

I will always be a fan of great country music but I won't defend clowns like Keith or their "Music"

R.I.P. Country music.
But in his defense it's tough fighting a good war from TK's seats at the Lloyd Noble Center.

7. Oh boy! A (more) redneck Hooters.
Just what this country needs. :eyes:

Does Toby Keith know that Rep. Walter Jones (R-NC), the person who coined the phrase, "freedom fries," feels absolutely horrid that he did and hopes to renig it? Does Keith know that Jones thinks Bush now lied about the reasons to go to war?

I would term Keith as evil wannabe, but he isn't quite intelligent enough to make it.

36. Thank you.
I'm a U.S. Army veteran of the first gulf war. I signed up to serve my country, Grow up and earn a college education. (In THAT order.) I didn't agree with the war I knew it was fishy and I'm not a gun toting yahoo just waiting to start putting rounds down range for the thrill of it, but I signed a contract and I took an oath so I put my feelings and my politics aside and I did my fucking duty. I drank myself silly and cried for months afterwords at the thought of how many hopelessly outmatched Iraqi CONSCRIPTS I had a part in killing (over 100,000 by my reckoning).
So when I see this jingoistic, WAR profiteering jackass propagandize a an immoral slaughter of People who have been suffering for decades to fire up the mouth breathers, it makes my blood boil. If this false patriot scumbag had a single American bone in his body he would put his money where his lying mouth is and serve. Instead he's sipping champaign (or drinking expensive beer) in stretch limo with confederate flag plates while the better part of 2000 american kids have fought and died for this damn war the he so fervently "supports". End of Rant.

Probably none that you've ever heard, but a few good ones that sold reasonably well.

for a full night to wire Toby Keith's B&G. What I think of Toby Keith is not nice for a Southern Woman of an Indeterminate Age to say.

23. I am east coast and have seen them in NOLA. Not impressed by a
long shot.

But, Husband and I combined a trip with the trade show. We flew into Phoenix, picked up an auto and moved out. I got to fulfill a 50 year dream...to see the painted desert. Saw the petrified forest. Rode down old 66 again. Picked up some mesquite honey. Flew over the Grand Canyon. Stood on Bolder Dam, at the exact spot Dad and I had our picture taken fifty year ago, had a new picture taken. Drove from Beatty up to Red Rock Pass into Titus Canyon. Saw Scotty's Castle. Saw Death Valley. I loved it out there. But Las Vegas you can keep. Even the natives we met there were moving on. Alot like Florida, natives not welcomed.

24. That sounds like fun!
That's some beautiful you saw there. My family is based out of southwestern CO, right by arizona Utah. (The Harrah's I worked at was in CO) I adore the desert out there, its wonderfully peaceful, though. I've never actually been to Las Vegas, from my experience working in a gambling town in CO, I wouldn't want anything to do with it. I used to meditate on my shift, try to connect with God, and I was always shocked at how completly spiritually empty casinos where compared to natural setting, which just seemed to glow.

20. I wouldn't get that down on Toby, to be honest.
He really looks at himself comically, like a stereotype. Ever seen the video for "As Good As I Once Was" where he can't get it up and gets beat up in a bar? He does not take himself seriously, and more importantly, he's not running the country, he's just entertaining people...So I wouldn't get that down on him to be frank.

This country would be a much happier place if Bush were singing dumb songs and opening country style beer-and-titty bars in texas and Gore was running the place.;)

I know I won't be buying the guys album or going to his bar, but its always suprising to find out that some of the stores I go to have CEO's that gave huge sums to Bush. Does anybody know of a big registry that has all these corporations?
