Is the chimp really afraid of horses?
I know that the ranch, the "clearing brush," the boots and the cowboy hat are all bullshit. But I've heard people say that he's afraid of horses. Is that true?

There was no definitive proof, but the discussion was quite informative.

4. Horses are generally excellent judges of character...
and I doubt the Chimp's ever been around a horse who could STAND him.

5. True * story
Edited on Mon Aug-01-05 09:16 AM by Botany
In 2001 (?) bush met w/ Putin in Russia and at that meeting he invited President
Putin to his ranch in Texas. Putin said, "It would be a honor to ride with you
Mr. President."

Bush answered, "I don't know how to ride."

And many horse do sense fear and will try to "screw with" a rider who
they think they can control.

* is a fraud.

21. I thought he answered Putin
by hem-hawing for a moment, saying something about "there are some horses in the stables, but I haven't been down there" and "You'll have to ask the foreman about that," etc. Basically what you said, but another lie. He's too dishonest to actually admit that he doesn't know how to ride.

8. Another true story
On his visit to Mexico early on - he went Fox's ranch where he was offerred one of Fox's favorite horses to ride.

He held up his hands and said "no mas, no mas" (no more) refusing to get on the horse.

14. Most certainly yes!..With President Fox, He was timid about touching
these beautiful docile animals.

Nothing but scared to death of them.

There is something totally wrong with people who can't get
along with animals.
Bush doesn't even get along with his own dogs either.

I swear he kicks that dog when no one's looking. What does it say about a man when his own dog hates him?

18. What a joke.
A great line in the '04 election that I was stunned to find never got used was that the President was "all hat and no cattle."

Where was the DNC, Kerry-Edwards, Move-On, etc. on that one?

25. Hi, zoe2. Welcome to DU.
And thanks for the article which was both, informative and depressing. Perhaps, if right-wing conservatives became as rare as wild horses, the world might be a better place.
