randi rhodes is arguing in favor of regime change again
People got all angry at me and my thread got locked. Just now she was saying that she believes if the invasion had been done correctly and Iraqi infrastructure had been rebuilt that the Iraqis would have said these Americans are good people after all.

It's pretty sad. I'm not convinced that it is an entirely coherent philosophy in favor of military aggression, because I can't match that up with other progressive ideas she talks about.

1. Here we go again.
I am listening, and that is not what I am hearing.

4. My thought exactly
That's not what I'm hearing either. I think her premise is IF we went in, we needed to have a plan, and we didn't. I don't think she was saying, yay, I'm glad we went. Just my 2 cents.

3. I don't know exactly what she said
I do know that my opinion before the war was that we were going to invade, and that the progressive role should be to force the President to rebuild after Saddam was eliminated.

5. Nice to know there's such a thing as a "correct" invasion
and that all those dead Iraqi soldiers were "in error" for defending their homeland

6. I doubt that was her meaning
and the context is missing, but I doubt that is what she said when context considered... will listen and let you know.
