Hagel and Chafee were worthless.

IMO Lugar destroyed any credibility he had because of how he dealt with the Bolton nomination.

5. Chuck Hagel said that he might not support him...
My bet is, if there had been an up-or-down vote, and it was a secret ballot---Bolton wouldn't have gotten 30 votes. While I don't like that he's there...better a crippled Bolton, than one approved by the Senate.
