Weekends at the DL. HELLO. |
|
So I assumed this was going to be another funny show with some silly skits and blah blah blah; but I needed some comic relief and tuned in last night. Whoa. From out of the gate he was political; having a conversation with a puppet mouse who is a thinly disguised Scott McClellan and asking him the tough questions about Rove and etc. I caught a little of the Sat. night show; where he had 3 people on (don't remember who) and heard some serious Rovian discussions. Last night he had Lewis Black; one of the stars of "Hustle & Flow" and the executive producer of The West Wing. Ohhhh Yeah. I'll try to find a clip here and post it. Catch it if ya can...; Comedy Central is quickly becoming Underground Liberal TV for the masses.....

1. Yes, show has promise. |

He tends to cram in too much info though. I find interviews and jokes to be rushed. Maybe he needs to expand to an hour.

It either needs to be expanded to an hour or he needs to cut back on content. Something I noticed was the fact that he has three guests on at once. They hardly get two sentences in the whole time, if they are lucky.
My suggestion would be to cut the guests back to just one like the Daily Show, or two guests one introduced at the start of the show and the other half way through.
