Didn't Bolton tell the Senators he was not interviewed in the Plame case.

1. Steroids & baseball are much more important, though
national security, WMD, treason, etc are minor compared to this.

:sarcasm:

2. Well, technically they'd have to prove this wasn't the first time

He did them ... I can honestly say in court I've never robbed a gas station... but that could change in two hours.. they can't charge me for perjury because I did it after I testified.

4. Something doesn't smell right...
Okay, I'm an Orioles fan and a fan of Raffy Palmiero. Considering how badly the O's are doing these days, I'm almost embarrassed to admit it. :eyes: Something about this just doesn't smell right. Palmiero vehemently denied using steroids in March. He still denies taking anything illegal that he knew of. The announcers at the O's game today were also saying that at least two other players - one from Tampa Bay and another from I think one of the Chicago teams - have tested positive for some kind of mystery substance. MLB and the Players' Association won't say what it was. I mean, just look at him. He looks normal, unlike Jason Giambi or Barry Bonds.

Give me a second to put on my tinfoil hat here... :tinfoilhat:

I'll bet it was Viagra. Raffy used to endorse Viagra when he was with the Rangers. He doesn't endorse it since he came back to the Orioles, but he probably still uses it. Viagra is a major sponsor of MLB. They're keeping this quiet because it would look really embarrassing if one of MLB's major sponsors caused players to test positive for "performance enhancing drugs." Palmiero contested the suspension, and apparently "argued a compelling case" before the MLB arbiter according to the O's announcers. But, because of the rules set up this spring, it's an automatic 10 game suspension. The players are being made to take the fall to protect MLB's precious advertising dollars.
