Bush Democrats? Do they really exist? |
|
If so, describe their constitution for me? I heard a caller from Hawaii identify himself as a Democrat who supported * and thought the Bolton appointment was good because the UN needs to be reformed. Now to me that was an R pretending to be a Dem. But in real life, is there such a chimera and what does the critter look like?

|
because of the slime/lies media could be that critter.
As to the UN - all agree it needs to be reformed - but how does Bolton help that cause?

6. They certainly are out there. |

I worked with MoveOn.org to contact Democrats in my voting precinct during this past election. I was really surprised by how many Democrats supported Bush and planned to vote for him. It was very disheartening, but it gave me the will to work even harder to encourage the "sane" Democrats to get out and vote.
I think that their main concern was terrorism. However, they might have said something else if terrorism wasn't an issue. My guess is that they are Democrats in name only (DINO).
I've had people tell me that they were Democrats until the Clinton "fiasco" (their words). My guess is that they really weren't. If they could be turned off by anything Clinton did and NOT be turned off by what B* is doing, they're just looking for an excuse to rationalize voting for B*.

8. There are some. We all met a few during the campaign. Remember Zell Miller |
|
But there are also many Repug Kerry supporters! Go figure. The grandson of the founder of the Republican Party supported Kerry!

Suffice it to say she is very ignorant, uninformed.
She is also slightly racist/xenophobic.
She's early middle aged, working-class, not very religious at all. She's pro-choice; doesn't like the fact that the Supreme Court nominee wasn't a woman, and that he is apparently anti-choice.
Surprisingly, she hated Reagan, but seems to be fine with Bush. Very odd. If you ask her, she'll say she's a Democrat, and as far as I know on the local level that's how she votes.
