Aaron McGruder (Boondocks) Signs Movie and TV Deal

Big news I have not yet seen posted. Huey hits the big time!

Aaron McGruder, creator of the provocative comic strip "Boondocks," has signed a deal with Sony Pictures Entertainment to develop a feature film and television series based on the strip.

"Boondocks," which appears in The Sun and The Times, features two young African American boys from the inner city who moved to the suburbs to live with their put-upon grandfather.

6. real life or animated?

does anyone know if they will be animated or real life? frankly, i think that two real kids talking like they do in the boondocks would be hilarious. animated wouldnt be as good, but thats just for the movie. the comic strip is awesome.
