6. No, I think Brown is all in -- Hamilton is only showing absentees
Brown's the smallest county involved in the special election, so their results came in first.

GO HACKETT!!!!!!!

11. The numbers given there are too small even for Brown.

And the canvass was originally posted as UNOFFICIAL RESULTS, then changed to ABSENTEE RESULTS after that. It does say 35 precincts reporting but that is probably an error.

400 votes out of 30 Thousand registered?

less than 2 percent turnout?

where in hell is Brown county?

that's amazing, if correct

EDIT: somebody says this is only absentees, but this site says nuh uh

http://66.241.236.181/elect/ohbrown/results.txt

can somebody clear this up, cause a 2 percent turnout sounds ridiculous

21. Absentees generally follow the pattern of poll voting
I've been watching the polls for years and never saw the absentees come out opposite of what happens at the polls.

34. How do you get that? Brown is a poor, rural county and Hackett's
advantage is 400 votes based on that county's 2500 total votes cast.

Hamilton is what matters.

26. HELLO PEOPLE!
This is still Amerika. One Party Dictatorship.

When Hackett is casting votes in the House, then I'll believe it. Somehow I still believe it's best put in the words of the late, Great Chickie Hearn:

"His chances are slim and none.....and slim has left the building."

I'll be amazed and impressed if he pulls out a win, but I can't imagine the powers that be are going to let that happen. Whether it's a race in the house or race for the presidency...they make the rules, and I wish it were otherwise.

I hope I'm wrong, but I am worried that later tonight I'll be feeling even less favorable towards this country than I do now, and realizing that it's an uphill and losing battle trying to beat these Bastards.

Is that still a highly conservative area? I live in Colorado Springs and I often feel like you. Seriously, I think a lot of DUers don't even know a single Republican.

44. Got A Long Way To Go
I'm not so sure about that. Still pretty Upper Middle Class Snobs. Plenty of SUV driving, Yellow Ribbon wearing, Shrub sticker loving people down here, and it will be some time before a Democrat has a chance to take the county...although I think Clinton might have been one of the only ones who ever won down here, but I'm not entirely certain of that. I think he did well here, but usually it is very safely republican.

38. They're All Around Me
Yeah....I'm definitely in the minority here. But overall California tends towards the liberal. I imagine Shrub's rating is in the 30's here for sure...and Arnold's are pretty awful right now as well. But my county, along with San Diego, are probably 60% conservative, or at times, perhaps more.

Are these absentee ballots, perchance? Absentees always favor the GOP.
