convienient for election fraud. These are the exact same numbers we saw in November. I'm not saying it's going to happen, but it is a little freaky.

I might understand if this wasn't such a red area.

2. I share your uneasiness...
.. we'll just have to wait and see. If the numbers suddenly jump in Schmidt's favor by a percent or two after a long stint in Hackett's favor, I'll be suspicious.

3. I was a precinct captain for Kerry and my precinct
"coincidentally" ended up being 51% Bush, 49% Kerry (BBV)

4. Watch for Hackett's Numbers To Start Going Down Instead of Up
Those "negative" votes get us every time.

5. I know, I get a sick feeling in my stomach...
remembering watching on TV at the ACT office that night in Southern Ohio, with all the tired and wet volunteers, being so excited because ALL of the numbers were coming back for Kerry. Until they weren't. Ugh.

6. Can we wait to freak out until all the precincts are in?
I only see less than half so far.

10. I thought you were gonna start shouting "fraud" or something.
And yeah, they're bad memories for me too.

11. LOL
Guess you weren't thinking then. And it's good to know we have bad memories in common.

12. Yeah, especially for an off cycle election..
.. where people are normally politically complacent and voting numbers low.

Or can we be in such a state that going forward, every election is going to be like this - both sides scrambling to get the numbers/votes out there?

With this being such a critical election- for DEMs to prove a point at least, IMO, there should've been the exactsame turnout DEM-wise as there was in November.

51-49% is curious no matter how you look at it, but hey, this is *'s 'Murika.
