Well, I bet he is big time electable. There are tons of other Republicans we could recruit. Hmmm.

We should start up another draft movement: Best Republican to Switch to Democrat so we could Beat Bush.

Too bad Arnold wasn't born in this country. We could have recruited him.

John McCain?
Stormin Norman?
Tommy Franks?
Jeb Bush?

2. No way.
Giuliani has too many fascist tendencies for my tastes. He's probably a GIANT backer of the patriot act.

4. You missed the obvious double-entendre
The idea is that Clark was a partisan Republican, and that the Draft Clark movement recruited him solely because he is electable.

Either you missed the double-entendre, or I missed some subtle humor.

6. No
All those folks are happy in the Puke Party or are uncommitted so your point is moot....

If you asked me if I would welcome Lincoln Chaffe, Olympia Snowe, and Susan Collins to the Deomocratic Party the answer would be yes....

11. That man is a thug
Under his watch, so many young black men were shot by cops that I stopped counting. He published sealed court documents to show how
they "weren't choirboys" and then sicced riot cops on their funeral
processions.

He hates modern art, so do I, but I don't shut off its funding and
lobby for the power to decide what is and what isn't acceptable art.

His lackies were wildly corrupt.

12. one word....
NO!

Giuliani didn't do shit except make public appearances all over the place on and immediately after 9/11. Giuliani also threw stones in a glasshouse(the Clinton/adultery thing).

Two words for McCain...KEATING FIVE...not to mention that he allegedly has a problem with his zipper.

Stormin Norman advocated a bloody coup if Gore were to get the Presidency in 2000.

Tommy Franks is cut out of the same cloth as Bush*, he said "Bring it on!" just as he was walking out the door to retire.

Jeb bush has done a lot to Florida. I doubt that Florida is ever going to recover.

Edited on Sun Sep-28-03 05:27 PM by lcordero
It was a military coup mixed in with voter fraud. The military coup did happen except it wasn't bloody.

If I had been talking to you, you would have gotten it right off the bat. I do great vocal sarcasm.

I really do feel that the Democratic party used to stand for something and I'm not sure if that is true anymore.

This is very depressing to me.
