So, Buxh believes Rafael Palmeiro would never fib to congress....
...The only thing he knows about The Plame Incident is "What he reads in the papers".

Our president checks the newspapers to find out what happens in his White House and he "believes" Palmeiro because "he's a friend", and just like with Roberts and Bolton, George Buxh rewards those who are "loyal to him".

Why doesn't he reward people who are loyal to their country?
And why does he lie about reading newspapers?

-------------------------------------------------------------

Per Keith Olberman's Countdown:

As if the President doesn't have enough going on, he's weighed in on a steroid-suspended baseball buddy...

Little more than an hour after word of Rafael Palmeiro's suspension for violating Major League Baseball's steroid policy, President Bush defended the former Texas Ranger. "He's a friend," the president said in a White House roundtable interview with several Texas reporters. "He's testified in public, and I believe him." http://www.dallasnews.com/sharedcontent/dws/news/washington/stories/080205dnspobushpalmeiro.300f6095.html

President Bush, saying he is temporarily muzzled by a special prosecutor, declined Monday to say how or when he found out that top aide Karl Rove had talked with a reporter about a CIA operative's identity. And, while indicating that all he knows is what he has read in newspapers, Bush gave Rove a ringing endorsement. "Karl's got my complete confidence. He's a valuable member of my team," Bush said, adding that internal fact-finding has been hampered by special prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald's request that the White House not discuss the inquiry. http://www.statesman.com/news/content/news/stories/08/2bush.html

1. Internal fact finding in THIS White House??
Why should they start now, lack of facts never stopped them from drawing conclusions before. I'm soooo glad to see they are do deferential to the special prosecuter though.:sarcasm:
